DIY Polymer Clay Tutorial: Frosted Polymer Clay Bowl Tutorial

In today's tutorial I'm going to show you how to use a stencil, alcohol inks and cling wrap to create a stunning veneer with polymer clay. You can choose to use that veneer however you want, but I'll be making a bowl in this tutorial. This technique is so much fun and has unlimited variations. Have fun and let me know what you make.

WOW!!! I clicked on your video to just relax and watch you make something pretty; but within the first 20 seconds I ALREADY learned three new things I've never seen do before! The burnishing with the parchment paper both to remove fingerprints and to burnish in the stencil; the using of the stencil in this way in the first place; the use of alcohol inks on polymer clay (and I've had a set of alcohol inks I've not had a single clue what to do with!). Beautiful bowl.❤ This is probably a silly question but with the varathane, gloss varnish or spray, would these bowls be food safe or are they just meant for trinkets, like keys, jewelry or watches?

I make them just for trinkets and such. Food wise, package items would be fine, or fruit you can peel, but otherwise no, they're not food safe.
