Lovely dishes; I can't wait to try silk screen printing but I am not an experienced clay expert.

Don’t stress! They are really simple and completely suitable for beginners! Worst case- clean the clay with a baby wipe/isopropyl alcohol and start again!

Hello! How can you coat polymer clay so that it can be used as a food plate?

I'm new to Premo clay, so this tutorial was great! I learned may tips from your video. I do have a question. I baked my first trinket dish at 275 degrees for an hour, and it was still somewhat bendy. What would cause that, and is it fixible? Thanks!!

Hi! Welcome to the wonderful world of polymer! It's lots of fun! Polymer will always stay a little flexible. It's a good thing as it makes it more durable. It sounds like it's baked pretty good if its bendy and doesn't snap! If you are worried - you could always pop it in a little longer.

@@TheLittleCraftHouse Thanks so much for your reply! I did bake it for another half hour, but still a bit flexible. Who knew it was supposed to be that way. I subscribed to you channel, and have watched a few more of your videos, and they were all great. Thanks

These are adorable! ❤❤❤ Quick question-Do you print your cutters in a resin or filament printer?

Hi! We don’t make our cutters ourselves. We have another small business who makes for us. But they are made using a filament printer :)

How do you stop the polymer clay from sticking to the base dish? Mine stuck on the bottom and in a couple of spots on the sides. I ripped the dish trying to extract it after the first 15 minutes. Did I miss a step?
@TheLittleCraftHouse
@TheLittleCraftHouse Жыл бұрын
Oh no! I haven’t had the issue of it getting stuck! Maybe let the clay rest for a few minutes before putting in the dish- just to cook it down and be less sticky. You could also try dusting the dish with some cornflower- to create a slight barrier. Hopefully that helps!

Don't you get marks from your nails on the clay?
@TheLittleCraftHouse
@TheLittleCraftHouse 8 ай бұрын
Yep! Unfortunately I do! I try to smooth out any marks before I bake. I try to keep them short - but they grow so fast!

Hi sory late reaction. U know what im jelous :'( in my country polymer clay is expensive and were struglin' in flatuation rate here. Its not wise to make a big item using polymer clay instead using a air dry clay cos air cly is cheap here. But i love working polymer but because of u im convince now its not about how expnsive d material but what imprtant is d best result of ur art and d quality.
