We are both homebodies, though, and I really like what you said about making your life one you don’t need a vacation from! I think I’m going to need to try this on our back screened in porch. We love it and live out there most weekends. We are in South Carolina as well (the Upstate area), and have mold all the time on the white wood of our porch. Drives me crazy. Great makeover!

It looks so good. I was literally dying inside when you painted the porch. We have a back porch and decided a few years ago to paint it. It has been a nightmare. The humidity caused the paint to hold water in the wood and even though it is treated lumber it has rotted. Hopefully you have a better experience!

Oh my goodness. We did the same thing in our lake house and I just fell through the deck floor it had rotted so badly! Thank goodness I was barely hurt, but it could have been bad!

Not all base colors of paint are the same brand to brand so they appear different. Best to choose a color from the line of paint you are using.

I think the warning of not spraying it on wood means raw wood not painted wood so you should be good. Anything with a coating doesn’t count as its original item. Painted wood won’t soak it in like a raw wood would and you are using it on material that is staying on the outside of the house so it wouldn’t soak into the wood and contain odors and etc. indoors. I think you are all good and your decorating is immaculate and beautiful.
