Shannon's is the only truly easy, economical and collapsible/neatly storable spray shelter I found on KZbin. The others that claim to be DIY and/or inexpensive all seem to be - either built on expensive components, or have old tent parts to salvage, etc. OR expect that you can leave them up. This was humble and excellent!!!!

As a way to reduce the size when stored. I wonder if you can make 4 (or more) of the smaller panels (your current side pieces), so that the middle section will fold as well. Then just add some extra plastic wrap to all seams (zip tied hinge areas), so that you can't spray through them. Then it would just fold up everything up like an accordion.

@@ShannonElizabethDesign I was thinking of something durable. I am probably going to make a spraying booth to paint car parts at home or any other projects. But with something more thicker and durability. With the fan blowing out the over spray it will have less tension. I love the plastic idea as well. With the fan blowing the plastic is a bit thin. The fan would pull the plastic causing to much suction because of it's light weight.

After the shopping, time, and effort, would've it just made sense to fork out the extra $20 and buy the Wagner tent?
@dantheman13373 жыл бұрын
Nice work! May be of some help, i found masks didn't stop me inhaling spray paint fumes so i switched to a snorkle and a long pipe that i'd attach to the snorkle and hang the other end of the pipe out the window. Then i breath in through the snorkle with my mouth, and exhale through the nose so air only travels in through the pipe. Works great i don't even smell the paint and my lungs are happy.
