ipad 3 new batteries = 9$ cut these into 3 segments, 3$ each 3500mah very thin lipol that is as thin as the IP5328P board IP5328P fast charging high efficiency board = $2.5 can make a 0.7cm thick powerbank this way with enough capacity to charge a new iphone once, but also has usb-c pd with 12v and can charge most laptops now. super fast to charge back up at 16 watts stack the batteries and you can make a better power bank for 5-10$ compared to commercially available models.

Looking at the battery inserts i wonder if it would be possible to use regular alkaline batteries? Like double A's or something, because i have a big pack of them i got for cheap online, but i no longer have/use items that require batteries, could it be possible to re-purpose them as a power bank in something like this?

@@donmarkon Theoretically if he matches V output and polarity it could work but -----he cannot and shouldnt charge them-----
