Hello. So i have been using a psu to power some things but i have a question about the wires. I dont really know what the difference is in using 1 +12v and 1 ground vs all of them together ? 😁 also if i want to use the -12v wire do i just need to add another connector for it? Appreciate the video. Thank you :)

Why we need the resistor??

How would you add a power switch to it

Been watching a lot of videos on this subject and I'm confused about which wire to connect to the load resistor . Some videos suggest adding the 10 ohm resistor to the rail with the highest amperage, yet one video suggest the rail with the most wattage. Please clarify. Thank you for sharing your great tutorial. Cheers

Rail with the highest power (Voltage times current) should get a 10ohm resistance to keep supply output stable
@cri8tor6 жыл бұрын
Makes sense to me. The +12V, 15A rail will get the resistor. There is another rail that has +3.3V, 22A, but that would only add up to 72.6W. Cheers m8

Yes that's why we add resistance to 12V rail

Current rating should not matter much (only that it is not exceeded). The actual current draw will depend on voltage and resistance.

Amazing work !!!inspired by you Bhai , making videos on KZbin and had this supply for a long time but the schematics always creted a problem for me . Please tell the amp rating for all the power supplies as I needed 12v 5 amp for my peltier module ?Thanks for the awesome tutorial please let me know

@@Nematics_Lab so how to get 12v at 5 amps ? Thanks bro
@Nematics_Lab6 жыл бұрын
Connect it to 12V output. It will give you the supply

You can also get 24v AC from transformer + 4 diode = 24v DC.

hi i don't have that dummy resistor .. when i plug the power supply to 220v input i get 5v from every wire with green one.. and the fan is not work .. any advice ?
