That looks like a matte finish. But it's not offered online. Am I seeing things?

You’re right, this is a matte finish. We used matte so it would show up better on camera and you could see the edges easier. We don’t have matte as an option since we only sell front kits at the moment. All Tesla paint is gloss, so it wouldn’t look great with a matte front and gloss everywhere else. When we release full body kits, we’ll have both options!

@@tesbros Just make sure the matte kit has wrap around edges :)

Wouldn't it be better if the film extended over the edge under the frunk?

yes and no. we may add different options later but usually it’s much easier for DIY-ers to install without edges since it doesn’t bring moisture back into those edges causing it to fail. Both options are definitely doable though - just preference.

What a about the model X. Extended Edges are top fender and side fender by the door. But if you have a white car get a full bulk on white cus those pre cut edges are going to get dust. You going to see those lines on white cars.

Let’s say this. With the stealth(matte ppf) film you CANNOT leave fingers to dry for a couple hours and come back and push them out. It will leave white marks in the film that do not go away and look like crap. Get a hair dryer, heat the film a little and work the fingers and edges until they are 100% down and stuck.

Great tip! We don't sell matte at the moment, but good thing to add when we do.
