Why is it “X” and “Circle” instead “Triangle” and “circle”? “X” is the closest button to your thumb, so you’d want to keep that instead of the furthest ( “Triangle”).

The strikepack is a lot easier. If you can solder just add two momentary switches and you have two mappable paddles and two hard wired buttons. When collective minds comes out with a four paddle setup I'll just get that.

Bought 2 for two controllers easy to build on the first doh my square button wouldn't work anymore figured I did something wrong installed the second one on my other controller now my aim L2 button not working rebuilt it and same problems took the boards off and now they work wtf

Or you can just buy the FPS strike pack on Amazon that gives you 8 mods and two paddles that you can remap those two paddles to whatever button layout you want and you don't have to worry about drilling two holes in your $60 controller and in case your controller breaks you can just take it off and put it on a new one

I actually don't recommend opening the controller like he does in this video. There are little plastic tabs in the dualshock 4 by the triggers that are pretty delicate, if you break those the shell won't quite hold together. I messed up my white dualshock 4 because I saw someone open it like that in a video. For the best results, I'd recommend using a prying tool and taking your time, you can still do it by hand fairly easily though. You're controller may turn out fine just popping it open like that, but it's best not to risk it.

There's this thing called a Strike Pack FPS Dominator, it's made by Collective Minds and it is really good, it connects to the micro-USB port on your controller and clicks into the speaker. It has two paddles that can be remapped to any button on your controller with no effort and it truly is a game changer. It goes for 40 - 50 bucks. Note: the Strike Pack comes with mods for different FPS games, such as Rapid Fire and other mods I can't remember right now, I don't use them cause I consider them cheating, but if you get one you can choose between 8 pre-installed mods. It has a subscription service where you can get mods for pretty much any game. Good luck!
