Amazing, also really love the colours. I'm definitely a beginner, but how can we topstitch with a straight stitch on a stretchy fabric?

Hi! Would you be able to explain a bit more how you topstitched the side and sleeve? I can do it about 3/4 of the way but then when I try to flip it around and topstitch from the sleeve opening towards the armpit, I can't feed it thru my machine. Thanks
