This turned out very well! I love the wood trim with the Roman clay, and I’m sure it’s much better in person! I subscribed.

Hey! New subbie here! The hood turned out great! I’m sure I’ll be binge watching your channel! Could you tell me the brand and color of the plastery paint product? We are retiring in the mountains I Ga. So exited that the house we were buying scent hood didn’t work, so we could DIY one. Watched a lot of complicated videos. Thx for simplifying the process! I know you are supposed to make sure any buttons to the actual vent (on/off, lights) are on the inside of the unit. Thanks SO much Yall! 🥁🥁🥁

Hi!!! WELCOME So glad this video was easy for you to understand! I used Portola Paints Roman Clay in the color Patagonia. It was leftover product from our fireplace build. I can't remember if I showed it in this video, but we built the hood to be about 1 inch deeper than our vent unit, this way I could still access all of the buttons. I wish you the best on your new home, I bet it is going to be beautiful!
