When you put the centre line down the road, and it bled under the tape, it reminded me of another video. The fella was doing the same thing, but after he laid the tape, he sprayed some sealer or liquid varnish down on the tape and exposed line prior to painting it, so the paint didn't beed underneath. I haven't tried it myself, but it looked like it worked for him! And you should quit saying it's not perfect..... I don't believe you anymore! 😉 It's totally perfect! brilliant job, yet again!

Thats a clever idea! The sealant would act as an invisible barrier and stop running and bleeding. I'll hold that in the old noggin vault 😄

I've learned so much! And I've been making 1:12 scale dios for years I love the different ways people perceive things aside of my own

Thats what I love about You Tube, we get to watch others create things in a way we might never have imagined, and then we can expand those ideas as original techniques. Without you Tube, I wouldn't have known what a diorama was. I'm just so happy to send back out what was given to me due to this platform. 🙂

Ha!!! That turned out quite well, and I think i will try that resin water deal myself as well. The roadhouse sign is as brilliant as the speed limit sign is cheeky😋 Another well done project!
@dinkydioramas834927 күн бұрын
Thank you! I do hope you try the water/ resin, it's an interesting thing to play around with as you assemble it and watch the way it forms into moving water. I'm also very glad you liked the signs 😅 The entire diorama was packed with innuendo's, the hydrant and water included. 😆 I wasnt sure how much I could get away with on You tube, so I thought being suggestive was a safe route.

Wow that worked really well! I've seen scouring pads used for many things, but water is a first. Thanks for sharing your innovations, and great dio BTW, you sure you want to disassemble it?
@dinkydioramas834927 күн бұрын
Thank you, Brad! And I feel 90% sure I'll disassemble and reuse most of this diorama. I have little room and use for more dioramas and much use for bits and pieces. I find these days that the pleasure is all about the build and not the object left by the work which has come to fruition. 🙂
