I just know it would make some of our soulless black hearted followers writhe in pain listening lol😅. For me though it is one of my absolute favourites. Really amazing work. Nice job. I do a lot of resin casting and I know how tricky it can be when you have to wait for that perfect moment to carry out a process before the resin goes off too much. I really like the use of the snow flocking - I've never tried that but I certainly will in the future. This came out really well and I'm sure you're justifiably proud of the result.

I like it even the sunken bits of snow, it’s like stirred up sand and natural waves also have white stirred up areas under the surface to.

Once you poured the resin onto the plastic it clicked in my head - of course that's how it was done! The snow powder sea foam really sells it. Many people use cotton and I just don't think it looks right. Maybe UV resin could be utilized to add some gravity defying peaks, although I don't know if it will cure once it's been mixed with the opaque powder. Just a thought.

I suppose along the way you’re going to make a lot of mistakes and it’s all a part of the process. Definitely learned a lot for the next time that I’d do differently. And thanks, I love having my family being a part of this and involving them. I really do my best not to shoo them away when I’m concentrating and get them to help where they can.🙂. Nice to see someone commenting on that.😊

Can't believe how good this turned out! I really thought it would be more complicated. Had in mind you would splash the resin on the rock-base when it's almost dry or something like that, but how you did it is just genius and looks awesome. The snow mixed with the top layer of the wave to create this bubbly, troubled water really just sealed the deal to me.

Hi Neil. As per your question, "Make a comment if you like the music." I love the music, vocal or instrumental, as it is atmospheric. It is very Celtic in style and being from Scotland, it is a sound that is quite popular here. It is not dissimilar to music made by Enya oroducts Clannad. So it js a big thumbs up from me. Love your KZbin channel and the skill to produce some stunning diaoramas. Keep up the good work and, hopefully, you wll reach your goal of turning your hobby into a full-time career. Regards, Mike

Thanks Heather! Sorry for the late response. I always want to make sure I have the time to properly respond to you.🙂 Glad you think that way about the board, although I see all the little mistakes and areas I wish I'd done differently.😋 I put silly words in the title like "ULTRA" as that seems to be what gets the views and attention. Although "ultra" to me is more like "not bad."😏 Anyway, thanks Heather for all the support you've given. You have a huge heart and the time you take to reach out to people and lift them up is VERY admirable and inspiring! Thanks again for all the awesome words. BTW your latest bench and fountain are CRAZY! Just popped over there to take a look at your latest vids and now going to sit down, have a coffee, give them a watch through and learn a think or two. Thank you this was the most challenging part of realistic challenges to produce historical events , that need to have realistic effects ! Keeping the display clean in large volume visitors and the use of lighting to the models with sound effects is also something that incorporating into and out of the model to add effects that produce greater effects as motion or depth that photographic effects can be used to display models , are some things of that I needed to help the massive amounts of scaled 12 inch military movable figures with specific scaled equipment ! This helps to save time in such projects thank you !

Fantastic work, this is exactly how I will make my sea boards in the future. Truly amazing! I really want a 8x6 table or larger seaboard(in parts), it will be a daunting task, and not cheap, but I have a feeling it will look just as good as yours-with practice. I think once upon a time in 2008 or before, there was an online store/wargaming community called "Cloud9"? They had an amazing sea diorama, with the water just rolling off smoothly, and a smooth vortex in the sea as well. Now I guess I get how they did it, like you did, on plastic sheets. But this is the internet, so I have to complain: No fish or schools of fish? Mermaids/Naga might be a bit much. Maybe next time?

Sort of like background music in a movie. even if no one else hears it while I'm writing it. I hope to have this sort of music playing in something that shows up for others to see and hear. and your water effect is amazing. I'm glad it showed up while I was watching others creating miniatures/dioramas. Just a small note about the boards for the resin pour - to maintain the boards full length for future projects, just make sure that the first board has one end flush with the perpendicular side. Then, as you go around attaching the boards, each one will have a tail, but each corner will be tight.

Lovely work. I wouldn't mind trying out something myself like this for a diorama featuring either the Airfix Severn-class lifeboat kit or the Alanger Oakley-class lifeboat.

Amazing. While you've got your technique and knowledge down from your experience and creativity, it looks almost like magic to us novices. If ever you need motivation for your projects, remember you are a magician to the rest of us!

@@RealTerrainHobbies I wanted a rock like form on my resin dome. But I didn't want to super glue rock on my resin dome. And I didn't want to use polymer clay either because I was afraid that it would eventually fall off. But using the snow flock coloring it and then mixing it with resin like how you did will do exactly what I need. Resin sticks to resin pretty well so hopefully I shouldn't have to worry about it falling off and when its fully set and cured it rock solid.

Hey that's a great idea! Never thought about using this technique for rocks. Should stick really well to resin like you said. Good luck!
