Hello great video. Question will I need to bleed the brakes when changing the pads on this vehicle? My car is exactly the same as the Tucson AWD shown in the video.

No you do not.. You’re just replacing the pads. You’re not changing the calipers.

Question. Do we need to open up the reservoir when pushing the piston in so pressure won't build up? Or let some air out?

I know I’m late but with my Tucson I did have to open up the reservoir. I forgot to do it the first time as my previous car didn’t require me to and luckily the cap just popped off instead of a brake like bursting

Depending on the state of your bleeder valve it can be better to crack it with some tubing feeding upwards (into a bottle) so that when you compress the cylinder you're bleeding out the most used fluid and bringing in fresh from the reservoir (which must be topped up) Doing this every brake change will extend the life of your caliper and keep your bleeder valve serviceable for when you need it. Of course if you strip your bleeder valve because it's already too far gone then now you have a bigger problem
