I love this!! My husband just said he needs more counter space and I started looking for ideas, this is my favorite one so far! Headed off to my workshop now, thanks for the inspiration :)

Awesome piece! I'm so glad that you didn't put the screws in the top. Looks great!

Thanks! Me too. It looks much better with the hidden fasteners and is still just as secure.

Love this build! Just a quick note about mineral oil though - it comes from petroleum - hence is not as safe as its touted to be. I think hemp oil might be a better choice. Looks great though, and I love how you used all reclaimed wood.. well done! Love your videos - can't wait to see more like this! Cheers.

Nice work, how much would you sell this piece ?
@MrDiyDork7 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Pricing is always dependent on where you sell it and who you're selling to. I've just been selling pieces on Craigslist for the most part and I don't live in a big area, so I'll list it for about 150-175 and probably take anything above 125.

next time you look at those double hook thingies, tell me you dont see a drunk octopus trying to fight.
@MrDiyDork7 жыл бұрын
haha. Yep, I can see that.

Connor McKee my friend told me this around 12 years ago. I still remember it every single time I see those hooks 😂

There is one problem I can see with this build. If you use a cutting board and any liquid or juice runs off the edge it will go through the spaces in the wood top and run all over anything that's on the lower shelf. Not to mention you would not be able to clean the small spaces between the boards.

Sorry, but it is some kind of misery. I'll never install table like this one on my kitchen
@thewoodworker17037 жыл бұрын
No one is asking you to install one in your kitchen, you don't like.. you dont comment, simple !
