Just a note about the spices sharing the oven wall. I may be wrong, but I think that the direct heat next to the spices may damage or age the spices. Their taste & nutritional value may be compromised. I would check how warm the spice pantry gets when the oven is in use.

Beautiful RV!! Loved your storage solutions for a small space. In my opinion, RV or tiny living is the way to go now since apartment rents are so expensive. You are right, us parents spend so much time at work and by the time we get home, parents are exhausted and have to get ready for the next day. Also RV living it's great because you are traveling and spending time with your children.

Great setup! They do make toilet seats for 5 gallon buckets and small compostng toilets which could be set behind a curtain outside or inside when weather is bad. Our family camps together and most use tents, so we carry the 5 gallon bucket setup for the girls, the boys use trees or the lake if there is one.

Wow, there seems to be a lot of negativity in the comments. Most about the speed at which Renee talks, while others focused on what dad said about being closer to his youngest. It’s clear he meant he had a stronger bond with his youngest as he’s been involved more with the up ringing of his youngest than the others. That certainly doesn’t mean he loves one more than the other. I tend to favor my youngest, but I love each of my kids the same, and that’s pretty normal with parents! I also tend to speak faster when I’m nervous, and my voice gets shaky. Some people do great in front of cameras, others get nervous. Anyway, Renee, I thought you spoke fine, and I didn’t think it was really that fast, but whatever. You guys have made yourself a beautiful home, and it’s apparent you are very happy, and love your lifestyle. The only downside I see about your trailer is the limited outside storage, but somehow you guys make it work! How do you renovate other trailers? Do you just park it next to yours in a campground or while boondocking? Or, do you keep them at a friends or family home, or some land you own? I’d love to live your lifestyle, but my wife issues sold on the idea. However, she said she would be willing to live in one for a few weeks at a time, so I’m hoping she’ll love it so much that she agrees to eventually go full time.
@TheFlippinTilbys2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for taking the time to say this! I have always talked fast and this is honestly my slow pace of talking😅. You are exactly right about Shaun and our youngest, he was able to develop a stronger bond and wishes he had been able to do that with the others. We love our lifestyle and do it for us, we are pretty used to people not agreeing with it! I hope you are able to do at least short stints of RVing, it really is such a great way to explore and experience the world!

It was obvious he meant he had a stronger bond with his youngest, because he was not as involved with the upbringing of the others as he has been with the youngest. It does mean he doesn’t love the others just as much. I would venture to say that although parents love every child the same, there’s they might feel a stronger bond or closeness to. I have 5 kids, and I feel a bit closer to my youngest, but I love them all the same.
