I wondered if you made the kitchen counter so low so you could use it sitting down. The way the copper sink blends with the color of the wood is beautiful. I just love the tree shelves. And the placement of the TV looks great as well. All in all, it is a great rig, but I would add a shower/toilet.

An absolute stunning build. I have never seen anyone do it with these van and ambulance conversions, but take a flat screen TV mount it on the wall and put a camera on the outside. Voila! A window! One could even frame it as a window, and/or use as a TV.

Did you ever think you didn't need a toliet? What is dry camping? Are those lawn chairs and umbrella removable?

Dry camping is boondocking, which means camping where you don’t have access to either a power hookup or fresh water.

I am always amazed how people can build-out these rigs! Beautiful finishes. Since I would need a shower I would utilize the shower between those two outside doors where water tanks are. Hot water heater, larger supply of water though would be needed. As long as weather wasn't too cold it's manageable. Composting toilet/bucket would suffice. Did I miss a cooktop? Am surprised you can't stand up in your rig. Maybe others with ambulances weren't 6ft tall. Did you raise floor at all?? Would you tell how much you spent on truck before remodeling?? Then total afterwards?? How many miles on it?? Can anyone tell me if wood counters are heavier than laminate... I wouldn't go with quartz etc. Thanks to anyone who can answer any ?'s I have. Good luck, enjoy, safe travels.

Nice build! Congrats on the completion of it. I agree with some others regarding a toilet. Gotta have at least a honey pot for those times when a bathroom isn’t immediately available, or when you don’t feel like going outside to find a place to take a dump, or especially on those occasions where something you eat doesn’t agree with you and you need immediate release in an enclosure so you don’t splatter your socks! I would also at least want an outdoor shower, or one of those solar bag showers you can hang in those cheap shower/toilet tents. If it’s just you and your son, you don’t really have to shower very often as long as you have wipes to occasionally clean up your ass and ball juice. Not sure how you cook, but assume you have something, otherwise eating uncooked food can lead to the splatter on your socks event. That’s a nice set up you have on the roof. Other than some type of toilet, looks like a fairly comfortable place to live.
