NICE WORK!!!! Couple of questions: if I buy the plans, do you take American currency? Do you have plans for the bench in inches and feet? Also, I don't know if I can get the laminate top that you have, so what are the dimensions just in case I have to make my own laminate top?

I am following you almost from the beginning, actually when you published the portable workshop video. There is an impressive constant in every project you do, none excluded, which is the high level precision in each single step of your process combined with the apparent simplicity that you make it seems... Hi, you could put a hidden lever which would slide under the bench top and use it to rotate your full sheets of plywood the top of the bench. If you make the pivot point about an inch above the center you could use one finger to rotate the plywood up onto the bench top, this concept works very well for me and after using it I rotate the lever up horizontally and slide up under the bench top until I need it again. I hope this helps.

I wanted to build a saw that would allow me to cut large boards, etc on the wall of my shop.. Would u ever think of doing something like that for a small workshop like I have where space is at a premium.. I have a 16X12ish.. The 12 has the ish to it..LOL.. It could be 10 feet across.. I need to do a proper measure up but at the moment I need to clear it out and fill a skip full of crap that was allowed to build up in the garage for yrs..Too much info there I know.. LMAO I begin building or kitting out my workshop next week nd it starts with 2 skips.. haha! Once I get it cleared and cleaned then I have to put in new lighting and

What a novel design! Thank you for sharing! Two questions: 1) Is wood expansion for your top a concern for the flatness and also cracking, given you’ve lag bolted four corners of the top? 2) you have different types of coating on each side, will that again affect the flatness? Thank you for sharing! Can’t wait for the rest of the series!
@Paoson_Woodworking
@Paoson_Woodworking 5 жыл бұрын
thanks Lok! I I think both questions are similar. Maybe with a board made with wet wood and low thickness could have problems, but not with a quality finger joint board. Both the water-based varnish and the oil-based finish will protect the wood against moisture exchange.
