Hello Maker Decor, thank you so much for this helpful video. I have a collapsible ripple panel made with MDF and want to paint it to a sage green color. Do you recommend brush or spray paint method? Which brand of paint do you recommend? Thank you!

Hi, thank you very much! For MDF I do not recommend spray paint as it just absorbs it so much and will take a lot of spray cans. If you have a paint sprayer, that will work and be the best option. If not a brush will work fine. The main thing with MDF is to use a primer first because it just wants to absorb paint so much. So a good primer base first and maybe 2 or 3 light coats of paint will do great and look smooth. For brand most will work great as I have used inexpensive and expensive brands. What counts more to the look you want is the sheen. Meaning the paint you get if it is glossy, semi glossy, satin, Flat, etc. They give different looks, so be sure to find the one that fits the look you are going for. Good luck!

Hi, thank you so much for the support. If you read the description from the jig on the website. It has the information on the router that is needed with this jig. Or you can just look it up on Home depot's website. It is the newest Ryobi router battery powered. They have an older one that they really don't sell anymore. This is the newest one that just came out not too long ago. You can also go inside a Home Depot as they have them there now. Again, it has the info on the website where the jig is ordered, but it's really just the newest Ryobi battery powered router. I hope that helps. If you have any questions just message me. Hi, it is from Home Depot and it is the Ryobi Brand. It is their newest router that came out. I will put a link but check the website a lot because they put it on sale a lot. The original price is like $100 but I got mine for like $60 and sometimes they have it for less? Home Depot has a lot of sales of their Ryobi Branded stuff. Did you use MDF and if so what kind?

For the backdrop I used 1/2 inch plywood. MDF looks cleaner, but you need to wear a proper mask the whole time cutting it. MDF is terrible for your lungs to breath and this jig makes a lot of dust. I just didn't want to wear a mask the whole time, so I used plywood and it worked great.
