I love the video! I would have been lost without it. I would prefer to have written instructions provided with the pattern purchase. My internet is awful, and it makes relying on a youtube hard. It seems like it’s “coming soon”. I’ve had this pattern though for 3 months…will there be written instructions soon?

Edgwater, how to you cut so fast? I feel with my fabric I am trying to determine the stretch way (its 4 way) but if i stretch it a certain way the stretch tends to stay after i let go. Do you always just cut regardless of the bias?

Hey Katie! Why did you use a straight stitch to topstitch the ruffles, and not a zig zag? Wouldn't the straight stitch break if the sleeve is stretched? Thanks for your tutorials, btw. Super helpful as always!

You could also do a double stitch with a twin needle to help with the stretch, it's usually better than a reg. Straight stitch.

Can the straps be crossed over on the back? Would you just need to lengthen the straps a tiny bit? Also, great channel. Love your videos

Can you use rubber elastic for the ruffles? or do you need braided elastic?

Rubber elastic punctures and rips so I wouldn't recommend it for this!

Pleaseeee can you do a video on loop strap tuning I’ve brought soooo many tools and I still can’t get the straps to turn am I sewing them wrong is there a special way ?!? So frustrating ☹️☹️☹️☹️

I don't have a loop turner :c but what I do is with the serger, create a long chain, larger than your strap. Without cutting the threads, make sure you put the chain inside the fabric of the strap, to create a kind of loop, then sew close the strap all the way with the serger making sure you are not grabbing the chain from inside and then you turn the strap with the chain you did before. It's a little tricky but had been helpful for me since I discovered this trick (:
