Thank you Brian. I still make lots of mistakes and my pace is laughable at times but really trying to make sure this thing lasts as long as possible. I always hate doing things twice may as well get it right the first time 😊 cheers man have a great weekend

At 3:35 Seeing the drill and wire brush attachment practically melt layers of rust in a fraction of a second actually made me say 'WOAH' out loud haha True to the series name, it wouldn't have been a rustoration without finding the rust under the trunk. Further Future proofing the Nova is great though, means the work done now will last even longer.

Haha love that comment that made me laugh. Yeah thought it was a clever name nobody used but now that we got into it we somehow lived up to it. Which is cool with me, but I totally see why nobody makes videos like this... takes forever. But yes you are right it will last long this way. Had I left those gas tank brackets like that the tank would have fallen off in a couple years lol! Good to see ya always Sean have a great weekend dude.

Excellent work! Where do you buy the 3M rust products in Canada ? I am in Ottawa (near you?). Thanks.
@SubdivisionAuto
@SubdivisionAuto 14 күн бұрын
@@Canadian_Icecube thanks. Which product are you interested in particularity? I buy my stuff from a variety of places usually amazon for most. But for Eastwood products like the frame coating I buy from GTP racing on the Quebec side. Talk to Serge tell him Max sent you he's a good guy. Otherwise like I said amazon.

Do you regret not getting that old Nova out of the cargo unit that was green and rusted bad now would you buy it or is it still a pass 🤔
@SubdivisionAuto
@SubdivisionAuto 5 күн бұрын
Not at all I just dont have the setup probably nor the skills to do frame rails. There is an aftermarket frame rail kit but its a full tub and its pretty tough to work with as it only connects at certain points... there are gaps above it in many areas. So the fact i dont have to do the rails on this car is great. That said I would get some of the other cars in the woods before that cargo one. The cars in the woods will rot away eventually disapear the cargo one will be restored by someone.

@@aaronk4241 haha she's actually very supportive of the project (for now) but that's because I'm filming it all in hopes it will do well on KZbin. At the moment that's not really the case but despite that she supports the dream and we are keeping on as long as we can afford it. Once we get to the expensive items I'm not so sure but right now it's been all sweat labor. But yeah if I wasnt filming it then it would be the same deal. Not enough hours in the day ! Thanks for the comment

Wow! Great job! Lots of work but it will last a very long time. And your putting in a V8. 🫡 Yeah sand blasting would have been better. Have you picked out a color? For me, anything but white. White shows the dirt so quickly. Thank you sir.

Hey Joe good to see ya as always. Yeah hard work has never stopped me in the past so im alright with putting in the time. Hard cars to get these days so I think its worth the effort for the privilege of owning one of these. Yes got a color(s)... something quite different in mind then what most people seen. Not sure if we can pull off what I got in mind but thought we would make it look unique. Hoping to have it all painted in 2025. It will be in primer most of the year while we rough fit all the components back in. There will be a lot of mods on this car. Have a great weekend! Funny saw your profile picture... I will actually be in the USA in vegas while the election happens! At SEMA.
