May I ask... what different between Plaster of Paris and Gypsum for Aroma Stone? Is there any danger to breath the gypsum after it form to be solid and dried stone?

I think it is to bind essential oil and water in the mixture together.

If you are adding oil to water, the emulsifier allows them to mix together (because "oil and water don't mix" without the emulsifier). HOWEVER, you can do this another way: Instead of adding fragrance to the water when making the plaster, just make the plaster item (water only but NO oil or emulsifier) and when your plaster cast has dried, add drops of scent to the finished plaster item. I think this is easier since you are ultimately going to have to add more scent when it wears out. It doesn't stay fragrant forever ☹️
