Thanks :) I reckon that DIY shower and moving bed would run the pond on its own without the main shower. May even turn the main one off or down over winter to save electric 🤔

@@dannycurrie1 yeah absolutely. It gets so cold where you are. There is probably no need for the outside shower during the winter until beginning of march.

Got it for £83 delivered. Not cheap but For the volume I'd say it works out slightly cheaper than normal ceramic media. You can get 100 litres for cheaper. Will see how it works next season

Looks good Danny 👍. Do you think you need some holes in the sides of the boxes to help it breathe?

I'm not sure, possibly it would help but it would also let water splash out the sides so I'm not sure I want to. There is a small gap between the 2 boxes where there sat on top of eachother, hopefully that's enough
