Thanks, bit of a long one for me. Thought I'd wait until I had a few bits to do a decent length video for once this time, with baby due soon it may be the last one for a while. they have grown really well this season Hopefully got another month or so of good weather left aswell 🤞

Seem to be one of the most reliable feeders out there. 6 feeds is enough for me now. Then I hand feed another 3. Not done loads of fishing this this. Did go barbel fishing on the Trent 2 weeks ago. Had a brilliant day. 23 barbel to 11lb5oz a new pb

Good update Don't be too hard on your self. The drum should have a sensor to stop it if the water level gets too low, it's not hard to do and given the cost and consequences, it should be standard kit.

Fish and pond are looking great. Too bad about the jaw issue with your kohaku. I have a large (69 cm) soragoi who also has a jaw issue and has had it for as long as I can remember. When it eats it appears that the jaw dislocates somewhat but after about a minute the mouth goes back to normal and all is well, thank goodness. Love that kohaku that you featured at about 2:39 in the video. Shiroji is so clean and the hi a deep red. Superb fish. 👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻 Cheers.

That's very strange. Atleast it pops it back in. Guess maby it's a genetic thing as I don't see how it can have injured itself. I tried my best to get it back in but couldn't, all seemed very swollen. I was planning on moving it on soon anyway so just gave it away in the end. I'm pleased with that new kohaku, hopefully it grows well. Fingers crossed we get another month of Decent weather still 🤞

Great update mate. I've given up on MYOB n just put artificial plants in my shower. Try fitting an stc to your remora then u can control the temp all the way down to lower temps. Koi looking huge 👍🐟
@dannycurrie12 жыл бұрын
Might do the same actually. Real plants are too much like hard work for me 😂 I'll look into the controller. The remora dose let you set it down to 8 which is probably low enough for me. Will see how it go's. The price of electric is getting silly
@richd-koi2 жыл бұрын
@@dannycurrie1 yeah the other Dan on discord told me to do this last year n Barry rip had done this too. STCs are about £15 and are easily wired in i set mine to 4 or 5 in the winter prior to that my dream wud only go down to say 12 degrees. Yeah im nervous about these energy increases tbh wud hate to get rid of the pond.
