I just bought a short bus. It’s exciting and intimidating at the same time I’ve dreamed of this for 5 years. I’m 59 years old and have no building skills. I stated buying tools and I managed to build a bed so far lol. I love your roof pvc shower idea! And your bathroom! Nice job guys!!!

Wow!! Your Kitchen is bigger than most apartments I've seen in NY. I love the fact of your dining positioned immediately to the left of entrance. The closet space and bathroom are amazing too. As an older person, I'd need to squeeze in a small custom designed sofa if not on Ikea to place next to the bed which for me would only be a twin size or perhaps a little wider but not full. I'm petite and wouldn't need that much space to sleep as long as its comfty . I don't mind sacrificing counter space for a nice relaxing small sofa that I can place essentially in front of the closet which would be next to the bed. I'd like to compensate by adding pull out counter space that create an L shape in kitchen area used for prepping and etc. Your refrig is the perfect size and placed exactly where I'd place it too!! Love your book storage in bedroom. A lot of wonderful ideas in your build. You did an amazing job with your home. Its lovely and its obvious you two are so happy and at peace living in it.

the shower piping on the top is genius which just gave me a thought of somehow building a way to have a gutter that collects rainwater and then do the same and gravity filter it into a shower

So lucky to find you! Your outlook and style is much like my own, want comforts, but don't necessarily need hi-tech. Been wondering why people don't do more water tanks on roof. Maybe too heavy It? It was an idea I had to circumvent pumps and heaters for showering using sun and gravity. Liked that you touched on that. The ceilng material, the berky?, the camp chef, the green cabinets. So much of what I want that makes the van a home seemed to come together in your build for me. Thanks and good luck to you.

Didn't know what to do pretty much demoed both of them but to do no further. I sold one and then recently just sold the other. I've decided I want a shuttle bus.
