Cleaning snow, digging, loading, transporting, and possibly many other types of work - doesn't matter, the loader is an indispensable assistant.
It's a very interesting project, but the most difficult one I've done so far. The lift arms build has literally blown my mind, but I do like how the result looks. And what do you think?
Support of my project is much appreciated (BTC): 1GJC4jge4WdyEtkzF53qGoqNWWnQzAJ7kv

Wow, you are too beautiful!! whomever see you shall believe that God is real and whenever I see you I am always in a dream and when we wake up we all will realize that all this life was nothing but a dream and that only God is whats true and real. I dont know how can atheists believe that such a very sexy very attractive beauty queen like you came from monkeys hahaha 😄 There was a teacher whom didn't believe in the existence of God, He said to his students do you see God?, the students replied no we don't see God, so the teacher said if you don't see God it means there is no God, then a smart student stood up and said to the other students hey guys do you see the teachers brain?, then the students replied no we don't see the teachers brain, the student then said then the teacher is crazy he got no brain :0) one God for all of us, all the universe shows unity with diversity, there are different things different creatures and different materials but are all made of particles and atoms Even if we will assume that there will not be an atom left of you/us after death, you still have proven as a created being that there is a Creator,you proved the existence of God even if you do not believe in God. God initiated everything, and he redo too, and it is evident. this life is temporary while the next is forever eternal either in paradise or burning in Hell fire good qualities are beneficial, and bad qualities are harmful Be good dont be bad and refrain from sins and obey God and worship him alone in the way he wants to be worshiped and you will be saved from Hell fire and will enter paradise and be happy forever Whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it, or may not see it if God pardons him/her and has mercy on him/her that's if he/she try's to fix what he/she has spoiled, in the right time, When you give charity God protects you and blesses you with more good things in life or the hereafter. A teaching from the prophet Mohammed may peace and blessings of God be upon his pure great soul and upon his great honorable progeny. When you be bad to others you will hurt your own self too, likewise when you don't do what you should in the right time. Having faith in God makes you stronger and makes you have hope even when things become very difficult for you and even when you are weak. Also: Drinking alcoholic beverages damages the liver and the mind. Adultery is not good, because it is not true love it is neglect to the lady and to the fetus, and brings sexual diseases, while marriage on the other hand, ok there is sex in marriage too and thats not a bad thing, its actually good, &is for the continuation of human race, & even for the here after its good for you because if you get children the good deeds of your children are counted as good deeds for both them and you, so they are a continuation of your own good deeds after you die and cant do good deeds any more, they are a continuation of you, & sex is to enjoy too, there is sex in marriage but marriage unlike adulatory it has love in it, it is a relationship in which the woman and the fetus are cared for, & even if they don't want to continue in a long lasting relationship they would at least be agreeing regarding the baby that the baby should be cared for, especially the guy he is responsible for the child to provide for him/her and to make sure the child becomes a good human being. Sodomy-same sex marriage-its bad and not part of normal human nature and life &it brings many sexual diseases. Eating pork can bring cholesterol &some parasitic worms. Not cheating, gaining trust by being a trust worthy honest person, & having good behavior, can help bring more money to you, and is good for you in the next life too. These are some of the teachings of the prophet Mohammed Prophet Mohammed may peace and blessing be upon him and upon his successor imam Ali and his God fearing God loving progeny taught every good, & taught people to respect & love & care for each other, & for the female, & elder, & children, & to protect the innocent person regardless of what he/she believed in, (If one of the polytheists seeks protection from you, then grant him protection) Holly Quran, & taught to either forgive the one who wronged you, or be just & fair when retaliating, or to shock the person and enslave his/her heart by being generous &kind. & taught to not waste money and resources and not to harm the environment, and to try to have a good hygiene and to try to look good and to try to smell good and to take good care of your own self, and to enjoy what God didn't forbid, so to be grateful to God, and protect your self and others from harm, and to defend the religion the final religion which God will accept and will accept no other than it anymore. & regarding the topic: Who to follow after the prophet!?, who are the extension of him and his light, well, try to find out by your self, however, in summery, to give you a hint: Even if you may think that all the companions of the Messenger were always good and all of them are like mountains, despite everything that happened between them!!! the Prophet said: “My family-daughter Fatima the lady of light the lady of heaven and Imam Ali and their great offspring's and special perfect chosen descendants-are like the ark-/ship-of Noah, whomever embarked on it survived, and whomever did not drowned and perished-/died-. &We know that the son of Noah did not embark on the ark/ship of salvation, rather he climbed a mountain and drowned due to the very high tides and because he didn't follow God command. Don't be like him spread the light teach what's good &right its best for you and for all and better than letting the wrong things from wrong teachings or bad desires and ill mind happen, prevention is better than cure ,

This is a common technique for KZbin content creators to play music during time Laps. However I have seen another creater continue the shops sounds (such as a lathe cutting) during time laps but allow the sound to be normal speed. It's actually a pretty interesting affect and a nice option. I actually like the music but I can understand your feelings about it. For me I enjoy seeing a variety of options during the videos. But one thing is for sure. She is excellent at her work. 💯👏👏

As someone who has done a lot of fabrication over the years, but never anything this complicated I can truly say you are doing a fantastic job. Stopping everything warping as you weld it up is hard work. What you've designed is very complicated, a lot to get your head around, and it's all too easy to forget about something, but it can always be fixed one way or another. Great to see the progress on this.

Lucia, I love the design of your skid loader and I am a welder fabricator and heavy equipment operator and mechanic. First, metal is weldable and replaceable. You can always fix design flaws and that's all part of the learning process. My concern about your Skid loader is basically your pins and bushings. Those components have to be made with some very hard material or they will gall or wear out very fast. I don't know if you are aware of this. Also you must put grease zerts to do daily maintenance on the machine. All friction points need lubrication points that won't get damaged in the operation of the machine. Brass is also an option for wear parts and bushings. It is always good to be able to replace bushings and pins easily. So you would basically make a place to press in a bushing that can be removed and replaced along with the pin. So where you are making heavy duty welded in holes to pass your pin through,those should be much bigger to resist excessive wear. Because sooner or later somebody will over load the machine and try to pick up something very heavy and it will cause excessive friction in the hinge points and they will grind together and wear out fast. I would recommend that you go find a construction site or heave equipment company and ask to speak with the mechanic. I would recommend also you go to Caterpillar and look at one of their skid loaders and take thousands of pictures for reference. Now you may make this for yourself and be the only person using it to move potting soil and dirt in your garden, but the next thing you know, your neighbor comes and borrows it and they use it like a "communal donkey and overload it". Also the steel plates and your reinforcements are very good and I like the way it looks. The rear plates should be much heavier in my humble opinion. The reason is they must resist excessive twisting forces. Because you will get a scoop of rock or wet dirt and turn the machine quickly and the inertia will make plates twist and they will break welds and it could cause a failure that could injure you or somebody working with you. I don't knock you for building this machine, you are doing great. Everything must be overbuilt because of the stresses and constant vibration.

+1 on the replaceable bushings. it's going to be virtually impossible to think of everything without a team of engineers behind so you will provably modify and upgrade your design during the process and even after years of usage. Very interesting to watch the process.
@kameljoe21
@kameljoe21 Жыл бұрын
I have used a lot of skids and I am not sure if the bushing are harden steel. I have a feeling they are just mild steel and grease is applied. As we have had to replace bushings in an older machine that someone used and never used great on it. We pretty much cut out the old one using a hole saw and a board to keep it in place. He milled up one that was the about the same size and then welded it back on by using 5 foot long round stock to aligned both bushings. As long as you use the right carbide hole saw and you think about it all they are pretty easy. It did not take more than a few days to do about about half on an old loader machine. In the end the machine work quite well and after fixing everything, spray and pray, new rubber it was a very nice small loader.
@davidstephens1092
@davidstephens1092 Жыл бұрын
Well said Jimmy, Just a couple of other little points I'd like to add for Lucia to consider. Grease nipples or zerts are easily broken off during operation so it is always worth putting a protection collar around them or locating them where they are protected and this is why so many manufacturers bore a passage through the center of the pin and recess the nipple in the end of the pin. Early skid steers were a real pain to work on due to the frame being made and then the engine shoved in from the rear with no consideration given to accessing anything. If the cab can be set up to be tilted with all the controls pivoting on the same line as the cab then it is so much easier to replace a failed part.

Nice work! As an equipment operator and owner of a similar sized unit I would expect a 700 +\- LB safe lifting ability out of such a machine. As to echo some previous comments Adding the ability to be greased in the joints is very important. Necessary if you intend to use the machine often in dirty conditions, as it could wear your joints prematurely. One current solution could be to use the heaviest grease possible on your joint pins apon final installation. Regardless excellent work thus far, I’ll be looking forward to seeing your machines completion! I have great faith that it will be a winner

Love it, Lucia! Great work! Makes me want to build one... I barrowed a skid steer for our house project and wish I could afford to buy one as they are so much more useful for me than my tractors... I'm definitely jealous!

Love the design! It will turn on a dime for sure! You can not have too many grease fittings! Oil, filters and grease are the secrets to operation and long term viability!

I just stumbled upon this channel. I'm greatful I did, so here you have a new subscriber. I'm a mechanic. At some point in my life I've used many of the skills you use now. I do not work as a mechanic any longer (in management now), but I find mechanical work still interesting. I think you do a fantastic job and its even more impressive when you tell us you are self thought.

Very Impressive work as always, I'm pretty much building a car from scratch and can appreciate the idea of building is easier than using a computer, your skills on a lathe and milling machine are very good, I'm just starting to learn. loving this series seems very intimidating to try a project like this. It is definitely coming along very good.

Something to bear in mind lucia , is , when something goes wrong , or you forget something, it can be an opportunity to make the original design better , because of the realisation and acceptance of the error , you are emotionally invested in that one part of the design , so creativity flows more . :)

The design is looking awesome. Even though you are using an engine block crane, it is really good practice to be using slings when you are welding. It is important to isolate your circuit. That was really good to see. This is a really really big project. Keep the faith you can do it!

From a woman who got hellish shite from fellas and male teachers while doing an electrical apprenticeship, I have to say, you guys are awesome in your non-sexist, totally supportive & encouraging comments here... good on you... I really appreciate the respect you are showing. 👍 It can be difficult, nearly impossible to follow your passion, interest, dreams when your co-learners/workers are antagonistic. I so wish I'd had some of you guys around to learn & work with. Be proud of your enlightened attitudes.

Agreed, the most are very respectable, which is great and how it should be. Just once in a while there is a guy in the comment fields that have a hard time seeing a woman match or being better than him, and put out some crap to feel a bit better with themself)
