Thank you for sharing! This is soooo cute! I purchased the pattern and am wondering what is the difference between dress A and B, if you don't mind looking? They show the drawing of the dress as AB but then they are separated when cutting them out as either dress A or B. I feel foolish not being able to figure this out. 🤔

Hello! View A is cut on the bias to create those angles in the center front and back with the stripes. This will create a nice drape, but may be more difficult to work with, as your pieces will have that little bit of vertical “stretch”.

I figured it out! A in a bias cut, B is not. It was only when I was cutting it out that I saw there were 2 grainlines. Why would you choose bias over the other? Sorry but I am still new to sewing.

For their version, they chose bias to be able to angle the striped fabric, which is visually interesting. Also, bias cut garments have a very different drape because the fabric behaves differently.
