I built a DIY solar generator/power station inside a rolling tool box. Its capacity (3000W/280 Ah LiFePo4) is large enough to be used for short duration home backup, and the built-in wheels and handle allow for easy transport for camping trips and other events.

Pretty cool. Kind of like AZ Outdoors's setup. We'd like a video of the RIGID boxes, outside hooked up to accompanying panels powering a load, and if you shot video of the build... a video of that. Fingers crossed. Comment here because it's one thing to buy components and wire them together. Another thing to to throw this into the trunk of a car, or have it powering a computer desk via solar panels all wired up. We can hope.

Agreed and thank you for the comment. So far I have done testing with solar input, AC input, and running heavy loads (shop vac and window air conditioner), and the build has performed perfectly. I have an off-grid camping trip planned soon so I'll be able to see how easily it transports and how it does on keeping us cool out there!
