Very nice. A couple thoughts: 1. I just opened up some old Bose 301s. Instead of solder, they used wirewrap. 2. If someone wants to solder to anything, first make a mechanical connection (i.e. twist the wires together) and then solder to make the permanent electrical connection. 3. Those positive and negative tabs: If the top tab gets loose after a could years of service, it looks like the tab could possibly swing down and make contact with the other connector. Maybe not, but that's something youtube DIYers should look out for. This video has motivated me to make my own soundbar. Again, very nice video.

Good build. Lucky here in philippines this speaker only cost 140 php (2.48 usd) so its fun to experiment with these really good drivers. Thanks for sharing your build!

2:46 i will not ask for tweeters as high notes, full range speakers cover it in part since you went analog and have to power it external from an amplifier. 4 drivers at 5 watts 4 ohms can run on 8002 smd mini amps. usb power, and can sound great. cheap to build and, have that sound bar used where you need it. but, the inclosure ideea is great, a+ for that effort. i am sure my comment will be lost in the sea of other comments, stil, great job

Hi Glenn, don't have internals but made with 12mm MDF, externals 96cm x 8cm x 8cm. Port is 22mm conduit. (external measurement). I just made it same length as my TV!!

As much as i love DIY, this thing you did requires lots of tools that not many people have around the house, if i'd have to buy all the tools just to build a soundbar myself, i'm better off just buying a commercial one. Nice work nevertheless!
