Tips and Tricks:
✏️ Use acetate or leftover plastic pastry containers to create transparent slide-ins.
✏️ Repurpose leftover boxes to create the crate, applying one or two coats of gesso before painting.
✏️ Stamp on the acetate using StazOn ink, which dries without smudging.
✏️ Write or stamp on small card labels for versatility.
✏️ Apply Distress ink to the edges of small elements, such as butterflies, to help them blend in.
✏️ Mix cinnamon acrylic paint with black acrylic paint for an aged wooden crate effect.
✏️ Use crackle paste to give the crate an aged look.
✏️ Rub in Distress markers to emphasize cracks, and allow the project to dry completely.
