I noticed that his sword attaches to the middle band. I'm planning to make it out of foam board so it doesn't weight down the craft foam. Thoughts on how would you attach it? I was just going to velcro it somehow

Velcro is a good idea :) You can put pieces of velcro on the band and on the back of the shirt near the shoulder. I think that should hold the sword if it's light. The only thing is that the pieces of velcro will be visible if you take the sword off.

What do you use for the black skin tight suit? I'm thinking of getting a morph suit and modifying it

I used a stretch fabric and sewed a shirt and pants. One of the belts goes over where the shirt meets the pants so that it looks like one body suit. ^^

Awesome videos. How would you recommend the velcro to actually stick to my clothing? I'm a skin tight polyester type work out clothes to replicate a body suit and velcro will not stick to that

Hi! A strip of velcro has two corresponding parts that you can separate- one is coarse and one is soft. You can glue one part of the strip to the armour, and the other part you sew onto your suit where you want the armour to stick to. Hope this answers your question!
