Hi Hugo I've been using Dyneema and low friction rings for off road recovery for several years now and of course for camping, I hang my hammock with Amsteel as it's 12 strand, thinner and lighter but bloody strong, might be worth you looking into Amsteel ?

I'm in Canada and half old. I remember when we did the switch to metric. The Dyneema is 6mm not 1/4 inch. Ever think they/we will get rid of the nautical mile? Switch to km?

You can get rid of the Imperial Mile but Nautical Mile is Much easier to use than Metric system when you're sailing because 1nm=1 minute of latitude.
