Amazing build, King M. Absolutely beautiful. I like to build Bluetooth amp/speaker systems using hardwood cigar boxes. I've built 10 of them, no 2 alike, always a different puzzle. I never thought of putting the power supply inside. You have enlightened me, Thank You...

Very nice build. If you already have the tools, this is a great project. Well done on the appearance. About $100 of parts, and another $40 for the walnut board. The router circular jig was excellent. A similar too exists for cutting circles with a cutting torch. Well done! A ratcheting cargo strap is also good for holding glued parts together.

I read peoples comments on KZbin and it fucken blows my mind everyones a hater.The person on this video is doing the best he can with what he has .If he inspire someone to get off of the couch and create something with their own hands and their own ideas it's commendable. If someone watching this can do it better then go out and do it you don't have to hate on a person and criticize what they do.Respect should be given to anyone who can create something positive using their own two hands.Keep up the good work brother let the haters hate .

Good wood-working skills, however there are some issues with the design: Use 45 degree angles to prevent standing waves, calculate the enclosure size to given parameters of the sub to prevent infinite baffle, choose porting type and calculate the length of it according to porting type, enclosure size and chosen tuning frequenty, make sure that the enclosure is completely airtight to maximize performance of the port and above all make sure that your sub matches your other speakers. Sound has to be balanced at all times, a sub is meant to reach the low hertz, not to boost mid-bass too much creating unbalanced sound.

If you think that subwoofer is worth 30$ you're absolutely out of your mind. Did you actually watch the video? Can you see how much skill and craftsmanship has gone into creating the end product? That's skill you don't have, Sir. This is not a how-to, it's documenting a build.
@raughboy188
@raughboy188 5 жыл бұрын
@@omardude39 i agree with you, that subwoofer would worth in my opinion at least 1500$ because it's hand made and it will outlast many mass produced subwoofers. When you build something like that yourself you build it to last.
@raughboy188

@@Cowboy684 it is us dollars. That's value in my oppinion, but one who made this video may think differently.
@placeofgaming
@placeofgaming 5 жыл бұрын
@@raughboy188 This sub is far from being worth $1500. To start there is absolutely zero phase control which comes in most of even the lowest end subwoofers nowadays as it is essential for anything close to decent sound. There are loads of areas that could rattle or leak air resulting in awful sound quality. The best thing about this sub is the cabinet which is made of hard wood which is generally pretty good for decent sounding speakers. Also, the components included in this built like the 4ohm sub driver is cheaply made crap. This sub probably isn't even worth $30 in its current form. The cabinet maybe could be worth $30.

Yeah nice job on the case but you need to do some googling before building your next subwoofer. It would have been nice to see a subwoofer that actually sounds as good as it looks. Like adding a inner frame and sound dampening, thicker speaker cables(because the ones you used are really only for sattelite speakers) and the bass reflex port makes the air turbulent breathing trough it(hard edges in the tube). I think you can still do this with the same woofer, part 2 maybe? Great video!

Very nicely done. I don't know what it actually sounds like but the workmanship looks nice. Unfortunately by the time that I acquired all the tools that you have to make something like this I could have just bought one lol. But then I wouldn't have a bunch of awesome tools to build another one. Now I'm all confused.
