You could have cut that piece with a lot less math. Just put the bottom edge at the end of the sidewalk and the top hanging over the top step of the deck. Then measure from the top edge of the deck straight vertical to the board and that is how many inches the board will drop into place once the cuts are made find the point along the sidewalk where that distance is the distance from the bottom of the board to the sidewalk and that's the end point of your sidewalk cut. Similarly measure up that same distance from each step to find where to cut the step cutouts. I hope this makes some sense. It's sort of like scribing and you only need to take one measurement and transfer it to all the different places.

Hope he's not in a wheelchair. The ramp is too steep. I found out the hard way when I built one about 2 1/2" pitch. ADA requires 1" per. Foot rise and I now know why

It was only temporary, thanks for watching😊 at the end it shows him testing it out in his wheelchair. While the slope is not ideal it did help him for the 6 weeks he needed it😉

How long does OSB last outside under rain and ice? Why not use pressure treated wood?

It probably only lasts 6 months. the ramp we built was intended to be temporary because he would be done with his wheel chair in 6 weeks. That is why we used non treated lumber and screwed everything together. You are right. This ramp would work as a permanent design if you convert to pressure treated lumber. Thanks for watching!
