I got mine up and running until my shunt touched the busbars when closing the door. Yep same problem, I also blew a cell mon melted the shunt corner , blew a whole pack of your style fuses and same problem as you now. I feel your pain. It worked great for a week. Good luck mate.

Hi Joe. The line filter & is from an old HP Prolient blade server. It'll take 110 V fine. I added that so that you could plug in any old PC power cord without having to rewire every time it moved around the world. Sorry I forgot to include instructions on that though. Cheers, Paul

Just to let you know in case you weren't aware, that resistor would be 220 ohm. the first two numbers are just numbers and the last digit is the number of zeros following it.
@ahaveland7 жыл бұрын
I guess a conventional resistor could be used if it has somewhere to lie without stressing the leads.
@ceb515rulez7 жыл бұрын
Andy Lee Robinson yes that would be a valid option, and it would make soldering a new resistor much easier
@AveRage_Joe7 жыл бұрын
+ceb515rulez I wasnt aware of that🤔 thanks for the tip😆🖒
@ahaveland7 жыл бұрын
You're welcome! Just bear in mind it might not work for really high frequencies as it would introduce extra inductance and propagation delays, but should be fine for this job.

What kind of 5v power supply is that? Also what charger do you plan to use for the 10s input and how much can the 10s bms handle? Thanks.
@AveRage_Joe7 жыл бұрын
Ill see if there is any info on the charger but If I remember right its this one goo.gl/v36DcE 30amps. The bms will be for a 14s system but can be used with any series system. Its powered from your battery bank or can be powered from a USB.
@ShanLiuGBM7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for getting back at me man. I like the wall idea very much, and I am definitely going to lowes today to get some of those PVC's you made holders out of and maybe I will just cut them close to the full length of the battery if that doesn't heat them up too much. I make these 1S12p power bricks for my powerbank extension so I don't have to charge but simply replace a brick when I get back, and I can carry 4 bricks in a plastic ammo box, when linked into 4s12p, they can charge my mac many times or power my 27 inch monitor for gaming and stuff when I go camping or just use as cig lighter power source. I think I am going to rip all of the ones I made before and do the DIY battery holder to all of them. How is the super glue holding and would you have gone with PVC cement if you are doing the holders for the first time?
@AveRage_Joe7 жыл бұрын
There you go! Yeah give it a try full length of the cell. My packs are holding up very well and Ive moved them around quit a bit. I might try the cement on a test pack, I didnt at the time cause I didnt have any on hand and didnt wanna run out to get any lol.

Yeah bummer on the Batrium build. The worst part is how long you may have to wait for the replacement. That kangaroo is getting pretty tired swimming across the ocean. My build is also moving slowly as I am installing Solar and Building crypto rig at the same time. I currently have 7 packs built and need 7 more to get to 48v. Anyhow keep the videos coming.

Yeah it sucks but happens! That kangaroo is getting a workout for sure lol. The build takes time when doing all the projects at once😉I do the same lol. You gonna do what Pete is doing and run the crypto off the powerwall once built?
@garryspence45217 жыл бұрын
Yes it is the next logical step for all of us. These rigs can generate money but u have to subtract electric usage. If we can run the rigs on the powere we generate it is then pure profit. If you havent looked into it you should.

Joe, I like your work. I believe is above average, but there is something that keep bothering me and is the name of "Tesla" that people are using for projects like this one. And that include the so bad called Tesla vehicles. In case people don't know, Tesla was a genius on AC or alternated current, but he also didn't like DC or direct current. Edison was the one working with DC and he hated Tesla. So why people keep calling this kind of projects Tesla? Instead should be called Edison. See, everything before the inverter is DC; the solar panels, the solar charge controller, and the HEART of the project The BATTERY, all of them belongs to the world of DC, Thomas Edison. So, it should be called " Power Wall Edison". Same goes to the vehicles wher the only piece that might be AC (Tesla) is the motor, anything else is DC (Edison). But I will continue watching yours videos cause they are awesome and like I said before, you have become above average. Keep it up.
