so i started doing my own nails with just nail polish about a year ago, and i almost decided i didn’t want to do my nails anymore but then for Christmas i got a gel starter kit and I’ve been doing gel ever since! My family thinks it’s weird because i don’t *need* to save all my allowance for nail stuff but i think it is SO MUCH FUN to try, anywho thank you for inspiring me, i’m saving up for polygel!

The best thing about you doing your own nails is that you can be as creative as you want. Imagine going to an artist to paint/draw exactly what you picture in your mind every three weeks or so. You’re your own artist and you can experiment as much as you want and be as creative as you want. One gem at my local nail salon is $5 when you have a whole pack and can design a whole nail of gems, literally just gems. Im becoming super interested in doing my own nails and kind of want it to be my next craft once I get the extra money for supplies. If I ever actually learn both of my hands will never be the same color or have the same designs ever again.
