Great tutorial... affirmed how I was planning to make one. I've been sewing a long time, but never thought of using clips instead of pins. Cotton duck cloth is a bear to pin. Mini binder clips worked a treat! Now my emergency tools won't be rattling about in the trunk of my old roadster. This same idea can be used to make a fountain pen holder for collectors. Thanks for such a well done and easy to follow tutorial!

Gosh I recall making just this "roll" for my husband over 40 years ago when he was renovating/restoring a Renault 10. I even made it in the same colour but you would never know now its covered in grease and grim. LOL
