I blame Dan too lol. Beautiful tortoises and engaging enclosure. Appreciate the mention, not quite sure if I deserve it but appreciate it. I am so glad Kevin's enclosure is inspiring folks, I will consider it as mission accomplished. That tree trunk water filter he made is just amazing, absolutely inspiring.

The tree stump was a great idea. Also way easier than constantly cleaning the tort water bowl. 🤣 I mean I clean it 2x a day and it always looks dirty haha.

Ive seen some tortoise enclosures with hallowed out half logs placed up against the sides of the glass, then buried to be a makeshift burrow. Its pretty awesome, as you can watch them inside their little cave.

Another thing you can try is to plant their enclosures with grass seed. Have 2 enclosures, one where they live, and a second one with a different landscape. Gives you time to grow out some grass in one while they live in the other. different landscapes every couple months. Just an idea.

Yeah definitely need to grow some tortoise foods. That's a smart way of doing things since I will have an outdoor and indoor enclosures. :)
