you do design and build great electronics and this again looks quality and technically sound . only a few youtubers have that skill and ability, most only show how to drill holes or hook up a meter. If I could buy the PCB or the kit, I certainly would build this myself. Tx for the great video.

Great project! I’m very interested in building something similar myself, but with point to point wiring instead of a PCB. Can you please explain the reason for swapping the 100uF/500V caps with 22uF/500V? Better power handling/sound?

5:38 Ummmm, you are red plating on the right side 6H6. The resistor in front of it is also darkening. You definitely have a current draw problem there. That 6H6 will eventually short out, if it hasn't already.

Great video Very nice PREAMP! I'm just starting to get into tubes And I am very impressed with your preamp. Is it a buffer or does it have gain. Cathode follower or Anode follower?? I would like a buffer to drive my Leach amp to give it a nice tube distortions. I'm not good with tube schematics So if this is a buffer stage I would like to build it. So I wait for you reply, Or can someone reply if it's a buffer unity gain. Thanks in advance Robert

Good morning is your preamp a buffer or does it add gain. If so how much gain does it add at the final stage. Also just to mention your drawing is not clear for a novice to see all the input and output L+R and the volume pot wirering. Any further information about the design, specs and wirering would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mình xin góp ý tí. Mình biết bạn làm youtu và cũng có bán pcb và mạch đã ráp sẵng. Bạn nên đăng bán bên shope hay sendo gì đó để tiện ae chế độ nào muốn tự làm hay muốn mua bản ráp sẳn , như vậy nó tiện và cũng khỏe

diyExplorer class AB and D and H doesn’t have to do anything with Pre AMP..... Tube pre Amp produce hot and more natural sound experience, Which other IC or transistor doesn’t
