Oh man changing dashboards is one of the most tedious jobs. If I get around to it, I promise I'll film it for ya. The Eclipse will be getting sold soon unfortunately...

Oh, also the sunroof is only supposed to seal it's own edges, there are drainage ports in the chassis for the gap around the sunroof.

So on mine the sunroof used to only pop up only and the moonroof wouldn’t work, now it stopped popping up and I’ve been told the motor is dead but would I actually need a new sunroof ? So it can recline

Yeah its hard to say man, without completely removing everything and seeing whats going on. Try to have someone use the button to pull back while physically moving it back, and be careful where you put your fingers. If you hear the motor working or clicking, it might still be good and something might be jammed. I had a lot of weird stuff in that moonroof crevice that I had to scrape off to have to function properly

@@GTCharlie i hear it clicking but nothing happened after i replaced the fuses, i got it looked at by 2 people and they said the motor is dead

Have you had the notorious 3g code PO401; insufficient egr flow. How did you fix it?

Hey! Yes, I had the EGR one once and I saw coolant spewing out of it. It was like a mix of air and coolant. It was on a different car though, and I ended up changing the intake manifold gasket. Augh, what a NIGHTMARE. lol.

How do you remove the whole moonroof from a 2g?

Ivanna Ortiz the moonroofs are all connected to a giant railing underneath the liner. Remove the liner and look for those giant rails connected to each other. Slowly remove all the hoses and wiring, then take the nuts/bolts out. Should be maybe 6-8 of them if I remember right

Hey friend! Yeah, don't be afraid! Just go for it! You also want to put stress in the right areas, where the clips are. Never pull from ends where the clips arent, if you aren't sure! :)

I have a 2000 eclipse, seem to have the same motor and everything but mine moves about half and inch and dies, where did you end up getting a new motor? I found a Mitsubishi parts site but there its like 300 bucks
