This has been the closest I’ve seen to changing a muffler on the GS eclipse. In you guys opinion do you think it would be similar . I don’t know what are the differences in the get exhaust and the gs exhaust apart from the double exit

If you have a double exit, you might just want to take the big muffler off, and replace it with a single like we did in this vid… otherwise, a muffler shop could give you a decent double exit if you bought two of these mufflers!

Im pretty sure this is the GS version and not the GT, I thought the GT had 2 exhaust pipes, and my brother has the 2006 eclipse gs and its identical to yours, exept he has the proper decals on it lol

Certain colors of the eclipse Gt got dual exit exhausts. But the sound of the engine in this video should be enough proof that this isn’t an upbaged car 😘

@creativebuilding3 the ones with dual exhausts are usually either a special edition, or I believe the last few years they were made, more of them came with the cool exhausts. Either way, the dual exhausts are super cool!!

@@gridengine I have an eclipse that had the equivalent of a cherry bomb for a muffler. It's not bad but it can get better

@Tr1pMind ok: THAT is a better take 😂 however, the point of our video was to keep it as cheap as possible. If we were searching for the BEST muffler replacement, we definitely would’ve gone with a magnaflow! 💪

@@gridengine I think that's a fine video to make. I have a GT in the same color with the Magnaflow catback, from the differences I've seen with people going with cheap mufflers, I do have to say that the quality is greatly improved. Keep it up though, the platform needs it, especially since someone just got EvoScan and ECUFlash to work with our ECUs.
