I have curly hair and I did it once and it turned out good but my hair was shorter. So now Im about to try it again but Im still nervous that it wont turn out right but it is kind of dummy proof. You can put the pony tail farther back on your head if you dont want such difference in layer length which is what I did at first but I still ended up moving the pony tail closer to my forehead. There is also something called a double unicorn cut.

Its time for me to do it again because my hair grew so fast! I have my sister's in law wedding this saturday and Im thinking do do it again this time doing the double unicorn and yes haha Im nervous. I think no matter how much I love the results, it will take a couple of cuts for me to be at ease with cutting my own hair, but gosh you save up sooo much money!

I have about the same hair type as you (mine actually looks damaged though) and I have gone to a lot of hairstylist. They always seem to mess up and leave me crying for days. So I've been debating whether I should cut my hair myself and after seeing this video I might just give it a try 😃

let me know how it goes! I was SO scared to do it because I've never had done so before but honestly I couldn't afford a deva cut right now. Im SO happy I did it, and Im considering doing a double unicorn cut in the near future, plus it truly game my curls such a nice bounce. Im sure you'll do great!

Looks amazing! Did u check out the curly girl method? I think with some more moisture and some gel your curls could even turn out to be more defined and I even prettier! I love that u have so much volume!

thank you soo much! , I'm definitely trying it, I follow the ingredients and other little things except the color part. I use gel but i feel like its hard figuring out the exact balance point between moisture and protein. its truly a learning process .
