@@diyphotography when you say bigger table? like bigger cart? And will you post the bigger wheels you are looking at? Bigger nicer wheels are always key. The only other thing is I can't swing 1k portable power.... any other suggestions? TIA!

I appreciate when you can hear the talent over the rock music track. Not the case here.

I've been using the same cart in studio for a while now (went for dark wood varnish instead of black paint...) but never thought about the pegboard! Great idea and will be implementing too.
@diyphotography Жыл бұрын
Yup, between the black color and pegboard it's quite fun to use

Which size pegboard did you get? None of them seemed to fit well. Did you cut it?

Is there any chance you can share how you attached the pegboard to the cart?

Sure, plain old zip ties. LOL. it's not meant for weight, just some small accessories

Nice job. Very clever using only (mostly?) Ikea stuff to make this cart. As the name implies, it's only for studio use...in the field I think it would not last long. It wouldn't come from Ikea but you could add varying sizes of PVC tubes, cut short and lined with foam rubber (and a cap at one end), to hold lenses a little more safely. Just a thought. I created a cart for us for studio and field use. Mostly I used a Krane cart with a few extras. I made a video about it too. Check it out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqSkq6yvi7WUl9U

Cant imagine a bigger ripoff than the prices for the video carts.....People working in industrial area are launghing hard seeing these prices...Hope someone will start doing quality carts around 500 euros...

Happy to serve ;) the nice this about this cart is that the wheels are replacable, do you can really get a nice set. On the flip side, it doesn't fold well. But for $300? Hey, no complaint

Love this! Ikea is like that, you go in to pick up one thing, you end up with a full cart of stuff; to make you own cart! super smart, only thing missing is some safety edges; dont wanna knock over something and have it roll off, or misplacing a 1/4" and never finding it again. Next to that, and for this price: flawless!
@diyphotography Жыл бұрын
I have literally never went into an IKEA and spent the same amount of money that I planned to. Somehow I always find more things in my cart at checkout. Cool tip about the edges. I'll figure something out
