I loooove this whole idea!! The family tree is gonna be so cool! As a former custom framer, I just wanted to throw out there, the baby outfit needs a bigger frame and not white background matting. It's a sweet idea though!!

@teresa, you can use either pins(providing it's a fabric covered piece of foam board, or sew it down to a regular mat board. I've framed an entire wedding gown once, all removable and non damaging.

Oh Danie, this project is so amazing! I was brought to tears several times, but when you were making the toy dog- I was a mess. In November of 2019, we lost our German Shepard and in February we lost our chihuahua. Both were so greatly loved. I can’t wait to see the finished room. That family tree is going to be so beautiful. Thank you for making my Saturday mornings!

Love the whole decor style of the room And that family values will be instilled from the beginning. The dog was so sad and so precious, my family has been through the same loss. If they hadn’t decided the photo of new dad and Grandad Bruce he needs to make a black and white photo of himself and Baby Bruce when Bruce is same age as himself in the picture. Went into this NOT expecting that i'll be crying twice 😅😂 I cried over the letter from the grandfather, I personally never experienced having a grandfather and so reading those words from an obviously a very kind and warm grandfather made me teary and happy (sorry to the family tho I don't intend on being creepy) And I really loved the dog toy and it made me cry a little 🥺 I‘m sure he was a good boy and he deserves to be remembered and it happened in the best way, honestly not a diyer but I can see myself making the toy to someone I love in the future 🥰 Thank you Danie your videos are always lovely and inspiring. Great DIY's. The etched glass mirror with the Grandpa's philosophy was a very clever idea. Love the framed shirt and the dog toy! Can't wait to see how you display the family tree. May be too late, but all new mom's need a comfortable chair or rocker/glider in the baby's room to nurse/feed the little one at night. Can't wait to see the finished room!

This was one of the BEST nursery DIY projects I’ve ever watched! Unlike almost every other DIY nursery make-over, this isn’t looking a nursery for an adult; instead, it’s looking like the perfect baby nursery filled with things his parent’s love but modified for a little boy!
