The best height for dog bowls is about shoulder height for them. It helps prevent stomach torsion. In case you ever make another DIY like this.

Yeah, my lab mix needs his at shoulder height for those neck and stomach issues. I thought about that. Also, felt feet pads under the legs. Maybe she can screw part of the old legs back on with all thread, paint and Bob's your uncle.

This is awesome! I'm sure Kenobi loves it! One thing I would suggest for the mat is finding some non-toxic paint and stamp his paw print or outline his paw print so you can use it as a stencil. You could even upload it as a design in your Cricut! I lost my dog in September and still can't get over it. Having things like that would really mean a lot!

This was so adorable! The only thing I worry about is that Mod Podge is water based and will get gummy and wrecked when sloppy Kenobi is drinking water. Please consider spraying with a shellac or other non-water based sealer to keep it looking fantastic for a long time. More Kenobi content would be great!
