Love this tutorial. To me the board looks like a set of vintage books. The way you were able to shade and highlight each board gave each a rounded look.

@IronOrchidDesigns3 жыл бұрын
A good water-based poly - either spray or brush-on work great as a sealer between the paint and the transfer and then for sealing the finished project. We love General Finishes or Minwax but there are several boutique brands that work extremely well also. Ask your local IOD stockist to recommend a favorite as many of them also carry beautiful, high-quality decor paint lines. Thanks for watching!

Very nice but would like to know more about the sealer and what kind do you use? Would a sealer such as spray or brush on? Will Delta clear matte sealer work? Please what do you use?
@IronOrchidDesigns Жыл бұрын
Hi Marty! We actually recommend sealing our paint inlays with a spray first and then you can brush it on after that coat dries. That is so the paint doesn't smear with the first application of top coat. You don't have to spray first with the transfers, but you can always use a spray if you prefer. Any water based sealer will work. Wherever you buy your paint, I would recommend asking them which sealer would work best with it😊
