Black Duct Tape (Dollar Tree)
Black Permanent Marker (Dollar Tree)
Masking Tape (Dollar Tree)
Clear Plastic Sheet or Clear Plastic Bag (Dollar Tree)
Box Cutter
Scissors
Glue Gun w/ Glue Sticks

Could I not spray paint the inside of a box black? Seems easier than building one, but there may be a reason that won't work. Light absorption, ect...

Another great idea. I have a few questions. Do you have to use the black foam board or can I use any box ? 2nd when you created the dragon and the Dinosaur what type of paints did you use?

Hi Dawn. You want to use a dark box so the light is enclosed and shoots in one direction. You can use a cardboard box and if you notice the light coming out just put a thick cloth over it.The Dinosaur I painted with permanent markers from Dollar Tree and the Dragon I used acrylic paints. very nice! what happens if you make the inside of the box reflective? will that make the image brighter or worse?

Hi thersten. I am not sure if it would make it better or worse. Definitely use a very bright light for better results. Maybe putting a mirror on the back wall to reflect more light back?🤔😊❤️

Yes, it does work. The flashlight has to be SUPER bright. The dim ones won’t work. Phone light is super bright. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching.
