I love this the best of all water features I've watched. I will do it on a smaller scale as im in a condo.. It's the most beautiful so far and most importantly give me the sound effect I'm looking for. I'm a healthy 72 year old and I may need help with heavy items, but my grandson will do what I can't. He is happy to help, lives on the east coast (I'm In SanDiego but he can't get here for several months but that gives me time to get what I need and do what I can and plan. I love this and because there's no pond it's almost maintenance free. I have a 6' wall on my patio I'm going to one day create a waterfall from the wall into a small pond. If I ever do it I'll be sure to watch your videos first.

Thank you, look into buying a pondless waterfall kit or a garden waterfall kit, it will make you life much easier when working out what you need or don’t need. The amount of time people wish they had more water in the basin or able to turn it up or down.

Hi Mark thanks for the video. I was wondering what volume of water you are moving there. (litres/minute or gallons per hour?) I'm lucky enough to have a 5 metre (~16 foot) natural, vertical, rockface in a walled garden that's just crying out for water. I really want to hear it more than see it. Without actually buying a pump and trying it it's very difficult to asses what the final effect would be. I was going to set a hosepipe running and then measure the final flow and then try and find a pump that would give that flow with a 5 metre head. Are there any other tricks of the trade that I'm missing to prejudge pump size? Thanks again for the video. Kind Regards . . . Andy

AndyDaviesByTheSea I have a video on this subject coming out very soon. Pump selection is a big topic. It depends on how much water you want quick answer. 4000lts per hour at the head high will give you about a 1cm spread over a 30cm flat spill stone.

Could you please do something on large raised goldfish patio ponds with high sides & liners. Pros and cons. Also tips for planting in such deep water without shelving. Love watching your work with ponds & water features.

Sue Bentley we don’t build that many deep sided fish pools, the pros herons will not been able to catch the fish easily, cons if the fish jump they will not make it back in, the water is cooler so they will not breed as well (might be a pro, if you don’t want to grow your own). Build internal shelves to grow plants on! Out of plastic pots or bricks and blocks.

That's just super awesome. I have been watching sooooo many videos for quick waterfall feature nice months and this is just PERFECT. I'll some of my own features as well. Inspired by this. I am from India. Some issues: 1. Difficult to zero chances of getting professional waterfall foam sealant over here. 2. The liner and white cloth is also difficult. Can we use thin to mid layers of concentrate for a small stream and mid size pond? All of your suggestions and feedback will be valueable. I am keeping my heart & soul in this project.

Keyur Desai yes, used what you can find, if it’s a water feature then most PU foams will be ok, the waterfall foam is much cleaning and more consistent however. You can use thinner grade liner just double up on the protection both above and below!
