I had already made the decision to print one of the other models before I seen yours. I might print it later. I like the 2nd design plate in yours. I do like the one I already printed, mainly due to the clips where the red magnet wire wraps around them. I just think they look nice.

A dimmer switch would be a good addition. You could ramp up the brightness gradually. I made an arc reactor using one.

I made one. It looks so cool and I used a 12 volt battery pack to make the lights extra bright.

Just made one of these but I'm modeling a hole in the middle so it can be used with magnets so it looks cleaner. SUPER COOL!

I think if you use a magnet to stick it on the shirt it will be more portable. and add blue light to make it more realistic. anyway i will try it, thanks for the template
@totdestroyer71513 жыл бұрын
Using a magnet is a bad idea, ive made one and the magnet attached to the shirt pulled the shirt down and shofted to much, the harness is a better option because it keeps the reactor in place
@sigmamale75122 жыл бұрын
Can the size of the reactor be changed
@thomaslong90614 жыл бұрын
Awesome design for guys!!! but I am not sure it would work for women a design more around 2, 4, 9, and 10 would work with a single forway connector in the back would work better and may work out better for both as it might not want to ride up as much

That is a really good point Thomas! I will experiment with some willing guinea pigs and hopefully the Thingiverse posting will evolve over time to accommodate all use cases: www.thingiverse.com/thing:4544459

Great video. A friend of my and fan of my geek culture Channel... Is made this project for me by my character on my channel. So, the only things I need to buy, is the circle light and the center light. But I have, two question for ask you. First... What is the liquid spray under the circuit electric and for why? And second, do I can put a better source of energy... Like four battery AA to the leds... For more energy and bright? Thanks

Has there been some DMCA on Thingiverse for this? I keep getting an error after a few seconds on the page, not matter the browser or country I'm opening it from. Other makes on Thingiverse work just fine. :/
@shareahack4 жыл бұрын
Hey! That's really strange...The Thingiverse listing seems to work fine for me, maybe it's just because it's a new addition? Not sure. I manually uploaded there files for you here: shareahack.com/link/arc-reactor-download Just click on the blue "download" button for the zipped package. Let me know if it works for you.

Why go through all that hassle and discomfort with a strap? Just use neodinum magnets. Place a magnet on the back of the prop and then place another magnet behind your shirt. The two magnets will connect and hold it in place on your shirt without all those crazy straps.
