how much would this project cost? because brooches are expensives in general, how many brooches per vase?

The pieces used in the project range in price from 0.98 each to 2.75 each at our site www.totallydazzled.com/ We used about 25 large brooches and 25 small ones. I would estimate that there is about $75 worth of brooches in the brooch ball centrepiece that we created. I know it's not our most affordable project ever but we think it is absolutely swoon worthy! A couple ways to make it more affordable would be to use smaller vases or to use them only on the head table of a wedding or perhaps on other special tables like the guest book table.

I would have loved to see a more detailed diy on these especially on placement of the brooches on the vases. Really interested in buying the brooches and attempting doing at home but I’m just not sure how to mix and match the brooches and buttons on the vase.
