Looks good, I would have drilled holes in the rim to pass the nail through and then weld the "head" in inside.
@UberLummox3 жыл бұрын
That woulda been fun drilling 50 fucken holes in a round, thick steel object! : ) I'm sure they thought of it though. Probably the much quicker way was because it was an experiment.
@cobravids3 жыл бұрын
Great Idea, cleaner that way.
@the_kombinator3 жыл бұрын
Yes - less weld boogers.
@graemew70013 жыл бұрын
That way runs the risk of not sealing the holes up fully and having to run a tyre with an inner tube installed in it to maintain tyre pressure, this way is better in my opinion.
@UberLummox3 жыл бұрын
@@graemew7001 I'm a welder, and all you'd have to do is make sure you have good, deep penatration and it would be fine. And just to make double sure, put some sealant goo around the welds for a 107% success rate. ;-) That way it would be garunteed.

The nails should be hardened or annealed steel at least, it's the welding that most likely to fail I'd say..?
@kg4boj3 жыл бұрын
@@bernardfender5147 A proper weld will always be stronger than the parent metal and if done properly and the piece forced to failure the part that breaks will be the parent metal and not the weld.

How is it possible that a channel like this one, doing crazy experiments and medium-high quality videos only has 500k subs?
@shitpostcentraI3 жыл бұрын
I can't tell if you're joking so I'll just say it: Their main channel has over 3 million subs, this just a dubbed channel for english subs.
@an_andrew23 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I know. But I keep wondering why they have so many fewer subscribers on this channel, even if the English community is so much larger than the Russian one. PS: I'm from Spain

They should put another bucket seat in backwards so the driver is looking out the rear window. Hook steering up via a bunch of u joints and pillow blocks! Use a RHD steering rack and keep brake and accelerator on drivers side. That way the 2 drivers would need to communicate well. There would be a throttle and brake operator who would call out to the steering operator which direction to turn.

You got ladas officially too ! You had the UK export variant of the 2105 , and the same for the Samara (2108 & 2109) But if I remember the 2105 had no change from UK variant, so speed was still measure in MPH ))
